Local SEO for churches

Can people find your church?

When someone nearby looks for a church, they need more than a name in a search result. They need the right location, service times and a clear reason to visit. We help your church show up accurately and make that next step easy.

Google Search, Google Maps and the pages people reach when they click through.

The first visit often starts online

A search result can answer the question, “Could I belong here?”

People may look up your church by name, search for a church nearby, or check where and when you meet. If the details disagree across Maps and your website, they are left to work it out themselves.

We make the essentials easier to find, understand and trust.

Find the right place

Clear address, directions, entrance guidance and location details.

Know when to come

Consistent service times and timely updates when plans change.

Feel ready to visit

Useful information about children, accessibility, parking and what happens on arrival.

Search positions vary by location and other factors. We focus on accurate information and a better visitor journey, not a guaranteed ranking.

What we improve

Make your church easier to discover and easier to visit.

We connect local search visibility with the practical details a potential visitor needs.

From search to Sunday

Every detail should help someone take the next step.

Local SEO is only useful when the information people find answers their real questions. We look at the whole path from a search or map listing to the page that helps them plan a visit.

The aim is clarity: where you meet, when to arrive, what to expect and how to get in touch.

See what is missing. Fix what matters. Keep it current.

01

We check how your church appears on Search and Maps, compare key details and review your visitor pages.

02

Improve

We agree priorities, update the information and pages in scope, and provide clear guidance for any changes only your team can approve.

03

Maintain

We hand over a simple update routine and recommend what to measure, especially when service times or locations change.

Start with your local presence

Let’s find out what a visitor sees today.

Send us your church website, main meeting address and current Google listing if you have one. We will discuss the gaps, agree the scope and provide a clear proposal for the improvements.

  • One location or several campuses
  • An existing profile or a listing that needs attention
  • Website copy, local information and practical visitor routes
  • Clear ownership of future updates
Pricing & delivery

The proposal reflects location count, profile access, website pages and the clean-up required. There is no guaranteed search ranking.

Timeline: Listing corrections and page updates are scheduled after access and approval. Search visibility can take longer to change and is reviewed over time.

Common questions

Before we get started.

Can you guarantee we will be first on Google?

No. Google determines local results using factors including relevance, distance and prominence. We can improve the information under your control and make the experience clearer for potential visitors.

Our church already has a Google listing. Can you improve it?

Yes. We can review its details, ownership and connection to your website, then agree practical changes. Your church should retain ownership of its profile.

What if we meet in a hired venue?

Tell us how and when you use the venue. We will check the profile eligibility and representation rules before recommending a Google Business Profile approach, and ensure your website gives clear visit information.

We have more than one location. Can you help?

Yes. We can scope each campus or meeting place and make sure its information is distinct and accurate, subject to platform eligibility and the way your church operates.

How soon will we see results?

Some information can be corrected quickly, but search visibility and visitor behaviour take time to assess. We will agree what to measure and report only what the data supports.

Do you also update our website?

We can include relevant location and visitor pages in the agreed scope. If your website needs a broader redesign, we can quote that separately.
